The Bible says that the final antiChrist will not come by force, but will be elected by the people who will serve him. That time is now. What I am most interested in is how this will play out. If the Bible is correct (and I truly believe it is), those who support todays liberalism will suffer the most during the Tribulation. But they will have an out if they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Bible says many will.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually say that in the Bible considering the word antichrist (or antichrists) is mentioned only 4 times and mostly in the context of those opposed to Christian faith. Nothing about the antichrist being elected or even really that the antichrist was an actual being. I am not sure how you can believe the Bible is correct when you don't even know what is in it.

That said, even if we granted that the Bible predicted the antichrist(s) would be elected, umm, ok, and? People understood human nature even then and know that people do dumb things to themselves.

None of this has much to do with a bunch of stuff a bunch of Jews wrote 2000 years ago--other than the fact that the strands of liberalism and conservatism have been waging a battle for most of human history in one way or another. The Church, of course, was pretty much soundly on the side of statism for most of it's history.

We'll all suffer equally for the sins of the liberals, sadly. And Jesus isn't going to come back and fix it all. That, of course, is just another statist fantasy. Jesus knows best and he'll come and tell everyone what to do. Yes, please bring us the nanny state from the heavens. Amen!

I'll pass on regulations from gods, thank you very much. Nor am I interested in paying taxes to gods and their representatives on Earth. I don't really need the big nanny in the sky to tell me that private property is sacred, individual rights have the right to freedom from tyranny, or that chopping up unborn babies is not such a good idea. These are sort of common sense things (whereas you'll notice historically the moral behavior of Judeo-Christians had been pretty abhorrent until the last couple hundred years--there is stuff in the Bible that was apparently condoned at one time, but I guess God decided was a bad idea later? I don't know, a perfect being generally gets stuff right on the first go around).

I mean look, I will fight alongside Christians against liberalism, but, you start talking your crazy talk and I'm going to look at you kind of funny. But as long as you don't want to tax me, feel free to worship the imaginary deities of your choice. Me, I'm all about sacrificing a lib or two to stay in the good graces of Odin and Thor. After all, I want to survive Ragnarok, you know?
