Eventually, North Korea or Iran is going to do something aggressive. They're not going to simply brandish a weapon; they're going to use it -- or they're going to issue a demand along with the threat of using one.
And when this happens, the libs and their media are going to hail the moment of Obama being tested, fulfilling Joe Biden's prophecy.
When that day comes, I want you to remember these days, right now -- when North Korea is testing nukes and launching missiles, and Iran is developing its own nukes, testing its own missiles, and conducting naval exercises in the Straits of Hormuz. Because this is the real test -- these events. Today.
The test will not be when we are staring down a nuclear threat. When it gets to that point, we will have already failed. Because the test is now, as Obama does nothing.
Of course, there's no way an Illinois state senator (as Obama was at the time) has better intel than the US Senate. In reality, Obama is a blowhard who's been cashing in on an error in judgement that got lucky. Obama made the wrong call on the war, and then evidence supporting the war was later revealed to be in error. That's not the same as making the right call because of superior insight.
The difference being that Obama's arsenal does not include superior insight -- it includes one very big mistake and one stroke of very good luck. In hindsight, Obama's Iraq mistake may have been vindicated by faulty intelligence. But going forward, is America relying on Obama's poor judgement, or are we just hoping for more luck?
It will take luck to get us through a standoff with North Korea or Iran. More importantly, that day will only come because of the mistakes Obama is making today.
I don't see anything wrong with Iran getting weapons as act of sel defense, US keeps bullying others, and now they are fighting back force with their mind.

Hey man, I agree with a lot of things you say but I don´t think Iran will develop nuclear weapons. And even if they did, who would be stupid enouch to use them? Since the rest of the world would use their nukes to obliderate the weapon who fired the first nuke. Ok maybe King Jong Ill would be stupid enouch but there is a big chance he is dead anyway so he dosn´t really count. :D

Strategically, nuclear weapons are only effective against civilized targets. A big, hot crater in a third world desert or jungle is not much different than a small smoking hole -- it all comes down to whether you put the weapon on the target.
But against cities and thriving population centers, bigger is better -- especially when you're in the terror business. You may not see the value of a nuke the same way as North Korea or Iran, Fredde, but only because you're imagining using one on them. It's not the same when they imagine using one on you.

North Korea and Iran see an opportunity and they are going to take it. They are laughing at the "we just need to speak with our enemies" approach. They have already been dancing that dance for years.

Quote, "I don't see anything wrong with Iran getting weapons as an act of self defense, the US keeps bullying others and now they are fighting back with the force of their mind."
You are making the assumption that government is intelligent simply because it acts. When it is the actions themselves that become the facts on which intelligence is judged. Any country that acts incredulously to the response they receive when trying to attain "Long Range" nuclear weapons to protect their "near-by" land, weapons designed to have the biggest impact against densely populated civillian targets and incapable of neither stopping an attack nor being used internally safely, is fooling themselves as to the purpose of their actions.
America developed powerful weapons at the height of wartime with the intention of using them and did so. When countries whose recent history purports violence as a means to justify opinions or establish power try to accomplish the same feats of creating destructive power with their less valid reasons, I don't stop to think whether they will use them, but what lesser catalyst will be required to give them an excuse to do so.
What intelligence seeks offensive weaponry to hoard or gain value by threats or force? What intelligence deceives itself and its mindless peons into believing a threat versus a threat is defensive rather than intimidation? What intelligence seeks offensive weapons as a peaceful route to power?
