Obamacare has this great new benefit: "end of life counseling." Wanna know when that benefit kicks in?
NICE had set a general limit of £30,000, or about $49,000, on the cost of extending life for a year. Sutent, when used for advanced kidney cancer, cost more than that, and research suggested it offered only about six months extra life.
Let me ask you this: Do you really want elections to be punctuated by politicians debating how much a life is worth?
Well Galt, the liberals are giving you an easy target with this. No need to hear debate from this abortion supporting group, wouldn't it follow that they've already given you their valuation on life's worth? Do the Obamacare people ever think about what they're saying? Its ALL cap and trade to them. (or Crap and Raid...)

What about the Lib contradiction of being pro-choice, and anti-death penalty?
-or-
The Republican contradiction of being pro-life, and pro death penalty?
I certainly don't want either group debating the value of a life... Ever.

What's contradictory about protecting innocent lives and reserving the ultimate punishment for those who take innocent lives?

I hope "Animal Farm' (favorite book next to Atlas Shrugged of course) references are not heresy here but.....
I'm sure everyone will get the best possible care and counseling; over at the glue factory.

I agree that ultimate punishment is a key power reserved in governmental framework. It protects citizens, and shall be factually and logically checked by a Judicial system.(?)
The pro-life contradiction 'should' be solved by an individual's moral premise (hopefully a strong one).
Politicians have no right, legally or philosophically to decide an one individual's value - innocent or guilty, THAT would be an ultimate punishment.

I was always under the impression that the death penalty was a way of preserving life. I'm having trouble remembering anyone who suffered the death penalty without being charged with multiple murders.
In the end if being pro-life and pro-death means being Republican, is God a Republican? *dies*
