LOL! Over the weekend, ACORN threatened James O'Keefe with legal action over his hidden camera antics.
This morning O'Keefe retaliates (escalates?) with more video, this time in Brooklyn.
If ACORN was smart, they'd use some of their stimulus money to buy the rest of O'Keefe's videos.
Great quote above --- the ultimate definition of selfishness --- lets hope anyone agreeing with John Galt does not pretend to also be a Christian.

Why? Is slavery a Christian virtue?

Slavery was stopped, as a social practice, by Christian efforts. Yes, many who called themselves Christians had slaves. However, not all that called themselves Christians are Christians. Once you study the Bible, you will know. Now, I do believe that hard work and yes, even self interest in producing is necessary. Even Jesus talked about producing more than he talked about love. John Galt almost has it right, except man alone can't solve man's problems no matter how much he produces. We all need Jesus, because it is Jesus who gave us the skills to produce.

Jesus taught me how to Engineer Software? Now if you had said Jesus led to the creation of the world as it is today, in part enabling me with the chance to gain the skills I needed to learn how to develop software, you would be spot on - whether you are a Christian or whether you believe in Jesus, no one can deny that his figure (no matter what you believe about it) helped bring about the world as is and has affected all our lives. But please don't tell me my hard work and determination is for naught, that I have no true liberty or freedom without Jesus. In the end pinning my sins and virtue to him is a disservice to him. I don't expect my figurehead to die on behalf of my sins or to rise on my success, only to receive fair payment for my own deeds.

Can anyone say how serious this corruption is really? Depending on the source, I've heard that it's either a big deal (corruption extending all the way to Washington), or it's totally blown out of proportion (part-time low-level workers, isolated incidents, etc). Normally I'd say the truth is somewhere in the middle, but I doubt that is the case this time.

When Acorn say they've done nothing wrong but fire members, people naturally assume they're inept and were obviously guilty of wrong doing.
When the Government continues to Support Acorn but continues to arrest its employee's whilst discovering damning evidence on a scale to which has not been seen before, no one seems to report on the Governments ineptitude or the fact that they themselves must share some of the responsibility for these wrong doings.
I'm sorry but, if I use my own money, or use other peoples money to fund an organization that has charges of electoral fraud over 14(?) states. If I used that organization during my Campaign, whether that be as a Senator or a President it would be my duty, responsibility and place as an American who loved my country and what it stands for to pay penance by radically ensuring the eligibility and professional competency of this organization. How are they helping anyone if their low level employee's are simply training people to abuse governmental systems?
My personal experience with Acorn is that they are the elitest's they claim the rest of the country to be. If you're not poor or a confirmed minority, you're the enemy. Every penny they get from the Government via grants or crime is a victory of "the people". The same "people" who "need" free healthcare, unfortunately "the people" are just the worst of the second hander minority of "the American people".
There needs to be a serious analysis of who is really being helped by this current Government, I believe that once that group is exposed the average American will not appreciate knowing that the Drug dealers who frequent the grounds of public schools and other sociopathic criminals, the crime pushers and the abusers of American liberty and freedom combine to make up the majority of what Obama's government seemed to preceive as "the people" of America.
