Those of you who are getting tired of Obama campaigning against George W. Bush, take heart: Ben Smith at Politico says Bush is closing the gap.
"Change it back" is not just a slogan -- 44% would now rather have Bush, and that figure is climbing.
The irony is stinging. Obama runs his entire administration as an anti-Bush campaign, looking for the lowest, least defensible opposition to compare himself to. And this week, as the administration is still blaming everything on an opponent who isn't even fighting back, that opponent is within reach of winning.
What's really neat is that there's no fall-back position from here. It's not like Obama can suddenly start campaigning against Herbert Hoover to prop himself up a little further. From a public relations standpoint, Obama has deliberately kept the bar low. And now, even that may be too high.
John my friend that is both scary and amusing at the same time. “I personally feel Hoover would have the upper hand”.
Were we to compare this administration to a “limbo” contest it’s doubtful a snake could win the bar is so low.
Unfortunately the average voter for the Messiah has an I.Q. so low it is hardly measurable on any scale. Alas still have not gotten the news this “Guy” is a snake oil salesman, or just refuse to admit the truth.
